Nominations to serve on our governing boards are open! All active members* are asked to consider using their time, talent, experience, and expertise to lead Mayflower UCC's work and ministry through board service. This congregation believes you know where you can best use your gifts and graces to benefit the whole congregation, so we need you to nominate yourself!
- All board members serve 3 year terms.
- All boards meet on the 4th Sunday of the month after worship - non-meetings .
- Childcare & snacks are provided during board meetings.
*An Active Member has officially joined the church, attends church or church activities when possible, joins in the work and mission of the church as they choose, and returns a pledge card indicating some level of support for the Operating Fund.

The Board of Trustees - manages the assets, real and personal property, and the financial affairs of the Church.
The Music Board - serves to enhance, promote, and oversee the Church’s music ministry
The Board of Deacons - looks after the spiritual needs of the Church, take an active interest in the relationship of the Church to the community, help welcome new members and reach out to any alienated members, assist in serving communion, and provide support for special services.
The Board of Christian Education - supports Christian Education programs for the congregation.
The Benevolence Board - distributes the funds designated by the congregation for benevolence purposes.
